Fiber Arts Group Show & Tell

One Block Wonder quilt top.

Squares sew on a fabric. The maker of this and the top below says she washes the top a couple of times and then she quilts it. The washing will make the raw edges of the sewn squares have an unraveled look. Hope she brings the finished quilt back so we can see the results.

 The following photos are from the fabric kimono class that Donna C. taught us how to make. Look at all the different fabrics and how great the kimonos look:



Back view of the kimono. Linda L. used the same fabric for the lining as the kimono exterior fabric.







We each brought Donna a fat quarter (or larger) as a thank you for teaching us how to make the kimonos. I made the coiled bowl as well.
